The Vendor is required to provide the professional services needed for communications and outreach for agency.
- Objectives
• Lead strategy and positioning about agency state with specific messages for target audiences to drive awareness of programming and 250th anniversary mission and vision.
• Support the planning and amplification of signature, agency, and community commemorations and celebrations with the project team, agency divisions, state agencies, municipalities, and nonprofit partners.
• Develop tools and campaigns to build awareness of and capacity for signature, agency, and community events.
• Reach statewide and target audiences with owned, earned, and paid media.
- Collaborate with the Communications team with creative development.
- Add to toolkits that have been developed as needed to reach specific audiences.
- Owned Media (consultation and management):
• Utilize country master planning calendar and country programming and partners to plan for opportunities.
• Manage, write, and edit content for the country website and email newsletters through agency content review system.
• Support and edit content for social media.
• Work with the country social media coordinator and other communications contractors.
• Work with the country Marketing and Communications team to design and implement owned media
- Paid Media:
• Determine and support advertising budget and creative for agency and agency in state.
• Manage and work with Boncom, as agency advertising agency, and their media sponsors, to plan and execute campaign tactics across all marketing channels (digital, traditional, social).
• Manage the paid promotion of social media content to target audiences.
• Evaluate and purchase additional media placements, as needed, to expand reach and support campaign goals.
- Earned Media:
• Work with agency PIO to determine media opportunities.
• Write press releases, talking points, and support pitches through agency content review system.
• Work with staff, communities, and commission members to determine opportunities to represent agency with the media.
• Act as media representative of agency and country Potluck, as needed.
