Scoreboards with Advertisement Services

The Vendor is required to provide independent contractors that would install, maintain, and manage advertising on four outdoor field scoreboards that at park.
- City offerings:
•    An awarded contractor shall receive free electricity and prominent visibility for digital ads. 
•    There would be no other competing banners for advertising. 
•    The city shall engage in a 10-year exclusive contract for advertising and sign maintenance.
- City expectations:
•    The awarded contractor is expected to install four outdoor scoreboards that have digital color displays with high visibility in the sun. 
•    The awarded contractor is expected to maintain the scoreboard and perform bi-annual inspections to ensure it is operational. 
•    The awarded contractor is expected coordinate and manage advertising with area businesses and share profits with the city within 30 days of received revenue. 
•    The awarded contractor is expected to obtain final approval of all digital advertising before posting to ensure businesses and messages are congruent with the family atmosphere of this venue.
- Digital scoreboard maintenance:
•    The city is expecting to offset the expense maintenance and repairs from advertising revenue. 
•    Routine deterioration from normal wear and tear shall be equally borne by the city and the awarded contractor in a 50% - 50% split. 
•    Circuit board replacement, display panels, sensors, led, power supply or any item that deteriorates faster than the anticipated lifecycle of 5 years shall be considered wear and tear. 
•    The city shall not be liable for damages that due to natural events beyond human control that are unforeseeable, unavoidable, or non-preventable. 
•    The city shall only be responsible for damages that were incurred by staff, volunteers, or game participants. 
•    All other damages shall be covered under the contractor’s general liability insurance the equipment owner. 
•    Include scoreboard ownership, then the city shall fully insure the equipment as equipment owner. 
•    Software updates, if required, shall not be the responsibility of the city.
