The Vendor is required to provide student athlete marketing services for include:
1. NIL opportunity sourcing and brand development
• Assess and define individual student-athlete brand identity, positioning, and audience
• Proactively source above-the-cap NIL opportunities, including:
o National and regional brand endorsements
o Licensing agreements
o Media and content partnerships
o Appearance deals and speaking engagements
• Develop tailored proposals aligning athlete profiles with brand objectives
2. Deal structuring and negotiation
• Lead negotiation of NIL agreements on behalf of student-athletes
• Structure deals to maximize value while aligning with compliance requirements
• Ensure fair market value justification and documentation
3. Compliance and risk management
• Ensure all name, image, and likeness (NIL) activities comply with:
o Institutional policies
o Conference regulations
o Applicable state laws
o Current NIL governance frameworks
• Maintain documentation supporting:
o Fair market value assessments
o Deal legitimacy and deliverables
• Provide guidance to avoid impermissible inducements or pay-for-play concerns
4. Deal execution and fulfillment management
• Oversee execution of all NIL agreements, including:
o Deliverable tracking (content posts, appearances, campaigns)
o Timeline management
o Brand coordination
• Ensure athletes meet contractual obligations
5. Financial administration and reporting
• Track deal values, payments, and performance metrics
• Provide transparent reporting on:
o Total NIL deal volume
o Above-the-cap deal segmentation
o Athlete participation rates
• Support payment processing workflows where applicable
6. Education and advisory services
• Provide training for student-athletes on:
o Personal branding
o Financial literacy
o Contract basics
• Offer ongoing advisory support for NIL decision-making.
