The Vendor is required to provide strategic communications planning, creative development, paid advertisement coordination, community engagement, and multi-channel campaign execution to ensure timely and effective communication throughout the construction period.
- This work will include both short-term and long-term strategic planning throughout the duration of the construction project, which is anticipated to continue through 2032.
- provide multiple methods of public engagement, including long-term communication strategies around the I-94 construction project through completion, including promoting bus service as an efficient means to reduce construction-induced traffic congestion.
- Tasks include but are not limited to:
• Gathering and analyzing data on populations or audiences most impacted by changes in bus service, including riders, residents, businesses and commuters along the corridor.
• Identifying and establishing partnerships with community organizations that can support equitable outreach.
• Developing a communications plan for engagement with elected officials, stakeholders, and the public.
• Providing monthly (or as requested) updates to the community outreach plan with key agency and County stakeholders.
• Designing, producing, and distributing effective signage, maps, and other informational materials.
• Planning and executing advertising and paid media campaigns to ensure maximum public awareness of the impacts on agency system.
• Supporting messaging development, news release writing, and media coordination.
• Ensuring communications materials are accessible and inclusive, including the use of accessible design practices and multilingual communications where appropriate.
