The Vendor is required to provide end-to-end podcast creation service and may decide, after reviewing proposals submitted, not to enter into any agreement.
1. Writing and design
• Design logo and all social media and video templates to align with school of business branding. Coordinate with internal graphic designer as necessary for brand alignment.
• Craft episode copy including creative and optimized episode titles, descriptions, and show notes.
• Craft episode artwork and show artwork that follows all brand and platform guidelines, optimized for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram posting.
2. Web
• Manage website plugin for episode releases (currently red circle).
• Manage access to online recording platform (currently riverside) and create unique studio links for each episode.
3. Videography and audio engineering
• Create two short form videos (one 60 second, one 90 second) and one audiogram per episode for social media promotion with captions included.
• Prepare full length video of each edited episode for release on YouTube.
• Provide dedicated show producer for live audio engineering within the remote recording studio.
• Producer to provide availability for tech walk-through with guests ahead of scheduled recordings as needed.
• Insert music and ad breaks (as needed) for each episode.
• Remove audio imperfections (ex: hiss, impulse noise, crackle, wow and flutter, background noise, and mains hum) from sound recordings.
• Provide audio mastering – fine tuning of levels and equalization of a track, preparing it for broadcast including optimizing the average and peak volumes of a track and using compression and equalization to achieve a level that’s consistent with other recordings.
• Provide written transcription of each episode.
4. Project management
• Manage logistics sheet and schedule for all recordings, editing deadlines and release dates.
• Meet regularly with podcast host (currently monthly) to review logistics sheet, deadline and timelines risks, and data and stats from previous episodes.
• Provide edited episodes for host review and approval no later than two weeks before release date.
• Producer to sit in on each recording and manage audio and video feeds.
• Develop show notes and transcript of each episode, including drafting episode title based on SEO guidelines and identifying excerpts for video production.
• Manage social media release calendar and coordinate with internal resources for on-time posting.
• Identify and recommend third-party partners for wider sharing of episodes as applicable.
• Coordinate revisions, edits and feedback from host, and guests as applicable.
5. Marketing and analytics
• Provide podcast growth strategies and follow up including identifying partner accounts for posting, event recommendations, promotion tactics such as social media contests, and recommendations for contest entries and conference presentations.
• Provide monthly data reports including number of downloads per episode, listen through rates, listener and download trends, high-performing episodes and topics, etc.
• Create the podcast’s RSS feed and submit to all relevant platforms so the episode is ready to publish.
• Publish each episode on the hosting platform and ensure it propagates through the ecosystem correctly.
• Ad spot production coordination – spot production for 15 second, 30 second, and 60 second variations.
• Dynamic ad spot insertion – insertion of ads and announcements within podcast episodes.
