The Vendor is required to provide all labor, personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, and related services necessary to perform business development, communications, marketing, partnership management, stakeholder engagement, and revenue-generation services for agency.
- Qualified consultant/firm to serve as an execution-driven partner in business development, communication services, marketing integration, partnership management, and stakeholder alignment.
- The selected firm shall actively deploy strategies in the marketplace; initiate and manage strategic outreach; develop communications strategies; conduct strategic media buys; media training; structure and negotiate agreements; advance opportunities through closing; and support activation, stewardship, and renewal efforts, to name a few.
- Objectives:
• Develop and implement an integrated business development and marketing strategy.
• Identify, pursue, negotiate, and secure revenue-generating partnerships.
• Deliver measurable revenue outcomes.
• Strengthen Park’s competitive market positioning and visibility awareness.
• Develop an updated branding strategy and guidelines.
• Optimize sponsorship, naming rights, and commercial asset valuation.
• Foster internal and external stakeholder alignment to accelerate revenue and funding opportunities.
• Establish scalable systems for pipeline management and partner stewardship.
• Execute approved initiatives to deliver tangible revenue outcomes.
• Develop communications strategies including content creation, speech writing, event planning and execution, and other communications services as needed.
• Ensure approved initiatives are operationalized.
• Exposition Park approval shall be required for major strategic directions and final agreements; however, once approved, the Consultant shall be responsible for driving implementation forward.
• Advisory-only services are insufficient to meet the objectives of this engagement.
- Strategic Market Positioning & Revenue Alignment
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of:
o Existing brand positioning
o Sponsorship assets and opportunities
o Revenue streams
o Competitive landscape
o Comparable venue benchmarks
• Develop initial year activation plan and 2–5 year Business Development & Revenue Strategy aligned with:
o Brand positioning
o Visitor demographics
o Institutional mission
o Community and public-sector considerations
• Following Exposition Park approval, implement the approved strategy, including active outreach, packaging, negotiation, and revenue execution.
- Asset Inventory & Commercial Packaging
• Audit and catalog all monetizable assets.
• Develop tiered sponsorship packages and pricing models.
• Produce professional marketing and sponsorship materials in multiple mediums.
• Upon approval, actively deploy these materials in market-facing outreach and sales efforts.
- Business Development & Revenue Generation (Execution-Focused)
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of prospective partners.
• Initiate and conduct direct outreach campaigns in the community, including but not limited to corporate, business, grass tops and grassroots.
• Schedule and lead pitch meetings.
• Draft, refine, and present partnership proposals.
• Structure, negotiate, and secure optimal commercial agreements.
• Drive deals from initial contact through execution.
- Partnership Management & Stewardship (Ongoing Execution)
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and partners.
• Develop protocols for current onsite partners and offsite partners and vendors.
• Oversee activation planning and implementation.
• Coordinate delivery of contractual benefits.
• Develop and track performance metrics.
• Drive renewal and expansion opportunities.
- Marketing Integration & Campaign Execution
• Align sponsorship and business development efforts with Park wide campaigns and major initiatives.
• Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to ensure execution of activation plans.
• Support launch and rollout of newly secured partnerships.
