Destination Marketing Grants Services

The Vendor is required to provide competitive grants to eligible applicants to support destination planning, tourism readiness, community activation, and visitor engagement initiatives that increase statewide participation in these globally significant events while advancing long -term tourism recovery and economic resilience.
- This grant program is designed to ensure that the benefits of these events extend beyond host cities to communities across the state, particularly small, rural, and underserved areas that can attract visitors traveling throughout the region.
- By supporting destination readiness and community-based tourism initiatives, the program will help local governments, tribes, Associate Development Organizations, and Destination Marketing Organizations position their communities to welcome visitors, highlight cultural and recreational assets, and create memorable experiences tied to FIFA
- Funding will support projects that help communities plan, prepare, and activate tourism opportunities related to FIFA 2026, including activities such as destination assessments, visitor readiness planning, tourism marketing and promotion, cultural programming, community enhancements, and local event development and implementation.
