The Vendor is required to provide to develop, design and produce a suite of educational and multimedia videos and assets for agency new flagship educational and demonstration facility, the center.
- The educational video content aims to complement the existing educational curriculum and on-site exhibits by delivering engaging storytelling through high-quality production, animation, interactive media, and/or augmented and virtual experiences.
- Storytelling themes may include the journey of Anaheim's water and power, renewable energy resources, local groundwater and imported water supplies, water quality and treatment processes, grid reliability, conservation, and utility career pathways.
- The grant will support the development of educational video production and virtual tools.
- Educational Video Production - Production of a bilingual educational video series and related digital assets.
- Creative Development & Pre-Production – Translating goals and vision into scripts, storyboards, and production plans.
- Production & Asset Capture – Producing high-quality educational videos, through filming, animation, and/or augmented reality capabilities.
- Post-Production, Editing, and Motion Graphics – Editing and final delivery of highquality bilingual videos for viewing at the agency facility and online.
- Online Access - Provide capability for videos to be viewed online, QR code access for each video, and ensure mobile-responsive versions.
- Creative Development
• Review agency existing sustainability and utility education curriculum, agency exhibits, and materials to support video storytelling on Anaheim’s water and power.
• Develop a creative strategy that includes:
• Creative and visual approaches most suitable for each of the identified topics (English and Spanish).
• Integration of agency sustainability themes (energy efficiency, water conservation, electrification, renewable energy, environmental stewardship).
• Visual style and recommendations to utilize augmented reality, animation, drone footage, stock footage, or other video production tools best suited for each video’s concept.
• Present Creative Strategy Brief to agency for approval prior to moving into pre-production.
• Present a production timeline.
- Scriptwriting & Storyboarding
• Draft scripts for all video topics in both English and Spanish.
• Video deliverables may vary in duration and are anticipated to range from 1 to 10 minutes per video.
• Incorporate technical accuracy, storytelling flow, and plain-language explanations for nontechnical and younger audiences.
• Develop detailed storyboards illustrating the visual sequence, scene transitions, and camera directions for each video.
• Submit scripts and storyboards for agency review, revisions, and approval before production begins.
• Collaborate with agency subject matter experts and Educational Consultant as needed on content.
