Event Space Operator Services

The Vendor is required to provide to manage, maintain, market and secure the event space and theatre space.
- Provide to procure an Event Operator whose primary mandate is to activate the Event Space consisting of the event and theater spaces through sustained, mission-aligned programming and deep community engagement.
- Goals for the Event Space include, but are not limited to:
• Maximizing and activating the space with diverse programming;
• Strengthening local arts and cultural organizations;
• Providing access to the local artistic community; and
• Providing programming for the local community.
- Operator will drive consistent utilization of the Event Space Premises, curate a culturally resonant calendar of events, and serve as the anchor institutional presence ensuring the spaces function at their full potential as a civic and cultural resource for upper agency.
- Community Engagement:
• Convening local arts, cultural, and civic organizations to build a robust, recurring schedule of community-driven events.
• Developing and executing a Community Engagement and Access Plan that articulates concrete strategies for inclusion, affordability, and collaborative programming with neighborhood stakeholders.
- Programming and Operations:
• Curating and executing a high-frequency schedule of arts, cultural, and educational programming consistent with the Center's mission.
• Managing all aspects of event operations including scheduling, ticketing, marketing, and community rentals to maximize space activation and audience reach.
- Operator Staffing and Site/Event Space Presence:
• Maintaining adequate on-site staffing to support day-to-day activation of the Event Space Premises described in the RFP Objective section.
- Financial Management:
• Establishing a sustainable business model anchored in earned revenue, philanthropic fundraising, and diversified programming.
• Maximizing financial performance through consistent activations and maintaining transparent accounting and reporting procedures.
