The Vendor is required to provide transit advertising on system assets available include the exteriors and interiors of system buses, bus shelters, as well as benches throughout the system service area.
- Requirement:
• Responsible for posting advertising content, removing outdated advertisements, and removing advertisements rejected by system.
• Installation and ongoing maintenance of signs and other activities must not interfere with system operations.
• System will provide a small space in the maintenance area for handling and storage of advertising signs
• Keeping this area neat and clean and for disposing of outdated, damaged, or unusable signs.
• Access to vehicles will be provided only during operational hours of the operating facility.
• All work on buses should be performed during off-peak times (midday, weekends, and evenings) whenever possible.
• May utilize the services of a subcontractor for the installation of signs.
• Any subcontractor must adhere to all requirements set forth
• Existing advertisements must be removed prior to placement of new advertisements.
• Layering of advertisements is not permitted.
• Responsible for any paint damage on buses when wraps or directly applied signs are removed and shall compensate system for any repainting expenses incurred.
• Designs for illustrated/wrapped buses shall minimize window coverage.
• Full window coverage must include perforated vinyl ("perf") maintaining at least 50% passenger visibility.
• Advertising shall not cover destination signs, bus numbers, safety-related signs, or any glass required by the operator for visibility.
