The Vendor is required to provide strategic partnership with an education management organization or virtual education provider that can meet the needs of the district to provide a flexible pathway to earn a high school diploma and prepare for postsecondary success.
- Comprehensive turnkey asynchronous education model that includes the design, implementation, and operation of an innovative educational program specifically designed for students who have experienced significant barriers to graduation through traditional educational models, include those who:
• Are over age and under credited.
• Have experienced repeated challenges in traditional comprehensive schools.
• Have not been successful in alternative education campuses, pathway schools, or blended learning environments.
• Have disengaged from school or dropped out.
• Require flexible learning options because of employment, parenting responsibilities, housing instability, health concerns, or other life circumstances.
• Need an accelerated pathway to graduation while preparing for postsecondary education or employment.
• Have past or continued involvement with the justice system
- Collaborate with the district to create a scalable, sustainable model that supports the district’s long term graduation success strategy and achieves measurable improvements in student outcomes, including:
• Increased high school graduation rates and persistence toward graduation.
• Decreased annual dropout rates.
• Re-engagement and recovery of students who have previously disconnected and dropped out from school.
• Accelerated credit attainment for over-age, under-credited students.
• Access to industry recognized credentials and career and technical education pathways.
• Improve transitions into postsecondary education, apprenticeships, military service, and living wage employment.
