Special Event Management Services

The Vendor is required to provide events management including fun festival, fall festival, scare festival, and Palmer Park programming occurring between October 17, 2026 and April 1, 2028.
- Requirement:
• Managing, supporting, and coordinating large and small events and event operations.
• Recruitment, coordination and management of food, retail, entertainment, and event related vendors and individuals.
• Site review for event development including required mapping, set up and tear down plans, and coordination with required governmental and community organizations in conjunction with the GSD recreation division.
• Entertainment and special event programming recruitment, coordination, assignment and management of presentations to support event related small and large events as required or needed.
• Processing and coordinating events required permitting including right-of-way, temporary use, EAP, and SEMT presentations and coordination.
• Presenting and coordinating community focused events and strategies with a focus on local based, small, and community focused businesses, vendors, and entertainers wherever possible.
• Coordination and management of sponsorships and strategic marketing alliances to support special events and sites.
• Managing, staffing, and coordinating presentations in small to medium event spaces and in public event spaces.
• Recruitment and forging partnerships to support presentations and performances in small to medium event spaces and in public event spaces.
• Providing support staff and staffing small to medium event spaces and in public event spaces on a seven (7) day cycle.
• Responding to 24 to 48-hour events and operational challenges where required.
