RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide services of a security contractor/integrator who is both well versed in current and emerging security technologies to provide support and installation services for the various integrated electronic security systems used by the council.
- Supply, install and configure all parts and cabling that make up a full IESS for new spaces requiring electronic security;
- Conduct commissioning of newly installed EISS components and provide commissioning reports.
- Provide service and installation for all components that form the IESS used by the council;
- Supply detailed drawings indicating any changes to existing and/or new installations; such as, but not limited to, the following;
• Conduit requirements
• Device layouts
• System matrix’s (access control, CCTV video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, etc.)
- Have the ability to provide on-site service support within 2 hours for emergency and 4 hours for nonemergency issues;
- Perform quarterly inspections and maintenance to all physical security applications and hardware as outlined below;
- Ensure that IESS computers and servers are performing at their optimum levels (ex. verify there are no system errors, hard drives are not running out of storage space, there are no OS errors, etc.);
- Apply all operating system patches and updates that have been approved by the manufacturer;
- Clean, inspect, verify and rectify any issues with all ID card printers and id cameras connected to the system (ex. clean printer heads, verify the id camera(s) are operating properly, conduct test prints, etc.);
- Verify communications signals between the servers and the access control panels, intrusion detection panels and CCTV cameras;
- Verify that all backups and failover operations are functioning properly;
- Perform annual inspections and maintenance to all physical security applications and hardware as outlined below;
- Provide any integrated electronic security systems (IESS) application version upgrades and labor for any existing application after they have been tested, verified and approved by division;
- Provide all system support licenses required for all applications that form the IESS;
- Provide regular deficiency reports to the project authority as required.
- Attend any meetings as requested by council;
- Raise any issues and interdependencies that may impact the integrity and/or functionality of the systems to the council;
- Provide a single point of contact for council for the purposes of reporting issues;
- Have the ability to track all service related issues reported as well as providing a detailed summary of all actions taken to resolve the issue to the council
- Provide technicians certified to perform any/all service and new installation.
- Provide technicians cleared to level secret to perform any/all service and new i installation as follows;
- For AMAG access control systems, technicians must be AMAG certified.
- For company systems, technicians must be company certified.
- For BOSCH intrusion detection systems, technicians must be BOSCH certified.
- For company portal/turnstiles support, technician must be company certified.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
