- State would like to have several unique areas of campus reviewed and a recommendation made for whether separate salary grades or structures should be implemented for those specific areas.
- Those areas are: information technology, engineering, public safety, and the state charter school.
- The consultant will analyze the internal hierarchy of certain job families on campus (e.g., administrative specialists) to identify concerns related to internal and market inequities and will propose implementation methods to correct identified problems.

- The consultant will review job summaries and duties and, potentially, talk to employees and supervisors in those areas in order to help determine act compliance.
- This project will, likely, result in a need for an updated compensation administration policy, and the consultant would be expected to provide guidance in the development of such policy as well as providing aid in developing guidelines for the management of pay within the new structure(s).
- Consultant will also aid in developing materials to be used in rolling out communication of the new program to campus, and develop a plan for communicating changes to those impacted.
