The vendor is required to provide computer, networking, and cybersecurity services for include:
1. Network management:
• Design, implement, and maintain the city's network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.
• Provide network security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
• Manage wireless access points (WAPS) and virtual private networks (VPNS) between city hall, two fire stations, and a public works building.
2. Computer services:
• Maintain and support all city-owned computers and related hardware.
• Provide software installation, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data backup and recovery solutions are in place.
• Recommend and/or sell appropriate hardware. include list of product partnerships you maintain.
3. Technical support:
• Offer 24/7 technical support for all it-related issues, including emergency after hours service
• Priority on technical support during standard office hours (8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday) for critical city operations.
• Provide on-site and remote support as needed.
• Conduct regular system audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
4. Network and data security:
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the city's data.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Provide training for city staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Include monthly online or in person cybersecurity training for all end users to ensure awareness of potential threats and best practices.
5. Consulting services:
• Advise on IT strategy and planning.
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems.
