The vendor is required to provide currently operates one drop-off location for the collection of household electronics and televisions.
- This collection site is provided daily free of charge for county residents and monthly for county small businesses (<200 employees) and non-profit organizations.
- This program encompasses the pickup, transportation, and recycling of: (1) residential electronics; 2) business electronics collected through department small business program
- Provide transportation from the collection site including all labor and loading.
- Pick up of used electronic equipment will be on an “as needed” basis and a request will be placed no less than three days prior to the pick-up being needed.
- Provide an invoice that identifies the weight of materials collected within 14 days certified by scale tickets issued at the facility.
- Historically 56.5% of the total household electronics received (by weight) is televisions and 43.5% is computer related electronics and other electronic components, including VCRS, facsimile machines, cell phones, printers etc.
