The vendor is required to provide of waste disposal and recycling services to schools and offices in the division.
- General waste: supply of containers, pick up and disposal component:
• Proposals must provide for the supply of 95-gallon commercial cart, two (2), three (3), four (4) and six
(6) cubic yard front entry containers on a monthly rental basis.
• Proposals must provide for the
pickup of the waste material in these containers on a per lift basis.
• Information on bins in place, indicates the locations and the bin sizes which are summarized as follows:
o (1) – 95-gal commercial cart
o (1) – 2 cubic yard container
o (2) – 3 cubic yard containers
o (7) – 4 cubic yard containers
o (17) – 6 cubic yard container
• Each container must be equipped with a locking device.
• Division will supply padlocks for these locking devices.
- Recycling services: supply of containers and recycling of FIBRE component:
• Provide pricing for the supply of 95-gallon commercial cart, three (3), four (4) and six (6) cubic yard front entry containers on a monthly rental basis.
• Provide pricing on the pickup of the recycling material in these containers on a per lift basis.

o (1) – 95-gal commercial cart
o (2) – 3 cubic yard containers
o (7) – 4 cubic yard containers
o (13) – 6 cubic yard containers
• The proponent’s pricing is to be based on supplying the bins, and pick up of recyclable cardboard and paper.
• Cardboard and paper are to be kept separately stored in a container provided by the successful proponent.
• The container is to be labeled as a recycling container and should be of a size commonly used for recycling based on the size of the facility served and the number of collection sites at the facility.
