The Vendor is required to provide the services of a professional Elevator Consultant to provide full-service elevator consulting services for all elevators located at the agency main campus and satellite campuses.
- Elevator consulting services and products:
• Maintenance and performance evaluations: assisting owners with conflict resolution and quality control problems related to their elevating devices.
• Due diligence inspections and maintenance audits of elevators
• Customized maintenance specifications and site logbooks including these in future elevator contract tender bids.
• Independent third-party accident investigations.
• Safety exams – accredited by the safety codes council to inspect elevators, man lifts and material platform lifts.
• Safety inspection requests as well as following up on outstanding deficiencies.
• Training – provide elevator training services to university with either standard or customized training courses or seminars on subjects ranging from elevator and escalator related building operations to emergency evacuation and maintenance training.
• Conduct monthly maintenance quality assurance meetings with the university and elevator contractor
• Review all invoicing for compliance with the specification
• Review all additional costs and repair proposals from the elevator contractor
• Conduct annual capital plans for the entire campus and residence services
• Provide a field data collection system to track maintenance, service requests and parts requests
• Be registered with APEGA.
