The Vendor is required to provide work to be performed by the testing, annual inspection, preventative maintenance, and on-call fire alarm repairs and emergency services contractor under these specifications shall consist of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies, and other expenses necessary to provide full testing, inspection, preventative maintenance as per act and other applicable codes.
- Work shall include every description, including but not limited to, inspections, adjustments, testing, and replacement of parts for all fire alarm systems (Conventional/Addressable, etc.) and related equipment covered under this Contract and the preparation/furnishing of all certifications and reports as required.
- All inspection reports are to be delivered to the Facilities Director (both a hard copy and electronic copy).
- Email address to be provided after award. Related equipment shall include but not be limited to all area of refuge communication devices.
- Test fire alarm systems as required by the city and in accordance with act requirements all automatic and manual alarm and trouble initiating devices including various types of flow switches, tamper switches, smoke detectors and pull stations, all alarm devices including bells, horns, speakers and audiovisual devices.
- verify proper operation of each alarm device including but not limited to horns, bells, audiovisual devices, and electronic signal transmitters to remote locations, motorized smoke dampers, smoke exhaust fan controls and all door release systems.
- test heat detectors for sensitivity using only a shielded heat lamp designed and developed for the purpose of testing heat detector sensitivity
