The vendor is required to provide fire house garage door replacement services for include:
• Removal of all existing overhead doors, operators, and jambs (approx. 9 doors).
• Replace with new commercial overhead doors and operators.
• All measurements and site conditions prior to fabrication and installation.
- Door specifications:
• Model: Amarr and ENTREMATIC model 2742, or approved equivalent.
• Construction: 2" thick, triple-layer polyurethane insulated commercial overhead door.
• Panel style: pencil groove.
• Material: 27-gauge steel.
• R-value: minimum r-18.
• Color: white (interior and exterior).
• Size: approximately 12’-2” wide x 12’-1” high (bidder to verify exact dimensions).
- Frame & trim:
• Remove and replace all existing wooden jambs and header boards.
• New jambs and header boards to be constructed using salt-treated/pressure treated lumber.
- Window section:
• One full-view section of windows per door.
• With 1/2” insulated tinted glass with UV protection (UV protection may be film or tinting.)
• Window model: 3552 or equivalent.
• Frame color: white powder-coated finish.
- High lift:
• Provide a minimum of 30 inches of high lift on all doors. (Exact high lift needed to be verified by bidder).
- Mechanical components:
• Torsion spring system:
o Include heavy-duty torsion springs with a minimum 100,000 cycle life.
o Doors to have solid torsion shaft for enhanced durability and stability.
• Track:
o Doors to be equipped with 2" commercial-grade track system, appropriate for high-lift application. - Weatherproofing:
o Bottom door seal.
o Side and top seals.
o Seals must ensure weather resistance and energy efficiency.
