The vendor is required to provide a material recycling facility (MRF) to accept single stream recyclables from the city for the purpose of recycling.
- Include for services:
• The city of will provide a 95 gallon recycle cart in good condition for each household within the city who receives municipal solid waste collection.
• The city will provide a 95 gallon recycle cart in good condition to each business and religious establishment within the city who receives municipal solid waste collection.
• The city of will collect the 95 gallon recycle carts once every other week using city trucks and city staff.
• Any load of single stream recyclables containing in excess of 25% by weight of non-recyclable material will be re-loaded on a city-owned roll off truck by the MRF and it will be the responsibility of the city of dispose of properly.
• Proposals must include any processing fee that will be charged by the MRF to sort and process single stream recycle material
• The city of owns and operates a construction, demolition and debris landfill located in the city.
• All pertinent information regarding permits should be included in the response to this RFP.
• Copies of all permits shall be provided to the city with the proposal response.
• The successful offeror shall assist the city with marketing, education, and outreach.
• The prices shall be in the form of a firm, fixed price for the line item described in the pricing schedule.
• The contractor shall furnish all supplies and materials necessary to complete the specified work including, at invoiced cost with no mark ups.
