The Vendor is required to provide a cloud-based supplier information management solution (SIM). 
- This is a central supplier data management solution that provides suppliers the ability to on-board themselves, completing tailored information the University wishes to gather from its suppliers through a reliable, transparent, user-friendly, and sustainable process.
- The solution is not a comprehensive p2p, but simply a solution that excels at supplier management specifically and works in connection with other solutions.
- Through this initiative we intend to accomplish the following:
• Encourage proper financial stewardship
• Protect against fraud
• Deliver operational efficiencies
• Enhance operating margins
• Enable robust compliance monitoring – valid TINS, visual compliance check, addresses, sanction monitoring, etc.
- The ability for this third-party solution to work seamlessly through native functionality is critical to align with our guiding principles for the broader ERP implementation.
- The solution will replace jaggaer functionality and require integrations both technically and in business process with workday and potentially with the state.
