Consulting Services for Community Wildfire Protect Plan

The Vendor is required to provide consulting services for community wildfire protect plan by a major step in developing a regional strategy, aligned with national best practices, to increase wildfire preparedness.
- Provide a web-based, community-level community wildfire protect plan (CWPP) template with a recommended process for developing local mitigation strategies for use by municipalities, neighborhoods and emergency service districts
- Post-fire erosion susceptibility risk data and the assignment of a risk score.
- Land cover data, including comprehensive vegetation types, for the service area.
- Fire behavior modeling outputs from typical, projected, and worst-case scenario weather conditions, to include burn probability, heat per unit area, max spot distance, flame lengths, fire line intensity, rate of spread, and risk based on structure separation distance.
- Provide an executive summary of the updated CWPP and web-based ESRI story map or hub that reflects the contents on the plan update and is accessible to cooperators and the public, and wholly editable by county.
- Identify gaps in the city and county software/systems necessary to update the risk model utilizing local resources.
- Provide all models (through ESRI Model Builder, FME, etc.) and methodologies used in the creation of all wildfire risk data and associated outputs.
- Provide all input data used from county or any other source.
- Develop a mitigation analyzer to facilitate identification of appropriate r best management practices for various sites.
- Identify best practices for community recovery from impacts to physical and mental health, the economy and infrastructure in the aftermath of a wildfire.
- Identify strategies and best practices for the city, residents, and appropriate insurance retention and insurability.
- The City will provide the acceptance of each deliverable and final approval as needed for payments.
