The Vendor is required to provide for the potential release of an enterprise project management office (EPMO).
- Successful projects - establish and maintain documented and repeatable portfolio and project management processes so that projects are consistently delivered according to approved scope, schedule, and budget.
- Staff productivity - ensure that all state and vendor staff are equipped and understand their roles and responsibilities so that staff skills and experience are being used efficiently and effectively.
- Quality - establish and maintain quality assurance and quality control oversight and processes so that the processes and work products are consistently followed and produced.
- The new multi-system integrated, interoperable, and modular configuration required by CMS, the E-PMO vendor will also provide medicaid enterprise architecture and system knowledge, expertise, leadership, consulting, and procurement support.
- Provide the related deliverables to support all E-PMO scope, e.g., templates, proper documentation and use of the document repository, meetings management and related documentation, proper meeting location, the enterprise communication management plan, and the department-approved methodologies/standards, processes, procedures, roles and responsibilities, and tools.
- Provide and manage staffing and staff augmentation services to align with department business needs.
- Maintain and (project) manage the CMS required medicaid enterprise certification according to the federal requirements and guidance.
