The vendor is required to provide performance and development training services for conducting on-site, face-to-face, and virtual, instructor-led training as specified by the agency.
- Training
• The preferred virtual training delivery platform is zoom.
• The successful contractor is responsible for submitting an electronic, detailed course outline for each course.
• Obtaining approval from the agency prior to substituting any previously selected course.
• Responsible for ensuring that training courses are approved by and scheduled by the agency prior to conducting any training.
• Provide custom courses outside of the regular facilities in Des Moines, the contractor is responsible for all logistics associated with that training.
- These resources shall include a pre- and post-training manager guide outlining how supervisors can:
• Prepare employees for training
• Reinforce and support learning after training
- The guide may include, but is not limited to:
• Talking points for pre- and post-training discussions
• Clear expectations for training application on the job
• Coaching suggestions to support behavioral change and skill application
- Course schedule
• Scheduling will be based on past courses, internal demand, and funding availability.
• Contractor will work in conjunction with the agency on classroom needs for training facilitation.
• The contractor will work with the agency to establish facilitation dates and the agency shall facilitate participant registration and billing processes.
- Administration
• Providing their enrollment, cancellation and rescheduling policies to agency.
• Provide agency 30-day written notice of any changes to these policies.
• Provide a single point of contact to work with regarding scheduling and rescheduling.
