The Vendor is required to provide co-produce a series of short digital video which will showcase the alumni awards recipients and promote the awards dinner.
- Video
• One video completed for each award recipient, maximum of six (6) recipients.
• Video interview with the recipient that will feature them sharing their story and experiences.
• Video testimonials, recognizing and highlighting the accomplishments of the recipient.
• A maximum of two (2) testimonials to be included (videos to focus more on the accomplishments of the recipient and less on the testimonials.)
• An alumni awards compilation video using a combination of archived video of the awards in previous years and new video from this year’s recipients (max 1 minute to play at beginning of event)
• B roll to be shot by vendor on day of scheduled interview shoots, vendor will also incorporate photos provided by recipient, and/or other archival footage.
• Completed videos should be 3-4 minutes in length upon delivery.
- Photography
• Portraits to be taken of each 2025 recipient by vendor and delivered to the university by
• These aforementioned videos may be used for reputation building, promotion, and/or advertising.
• Primarily, videos produced will be housed on the alumni website, however, as indicated, the university reserves the right to use some of the videos for other purposes such as general marketing, branding and recruitment.
• In collaboration with the university, the successful vendor will conceive and produce the videos to effectively tell each story.
• In most cases, the logistics of the shoots will involve a limited number of interviews, typically on location, and include B-roll footage acquisition.
- Equipment
• The vendor must supply all required equipment needed to yield professional quality digital videos.
- Video quality:
• Each digital video production must be of full high definition quality and in one of the following formats:
• 1080p mp4
• 4k 2160p mp4
- Post-production services
• The vendor will supply all needed post-production services, including, but not limited to, video editing, audio mixing, color correction, and adding titles as needed.
• Three (3) rounds of edits are to be made for each video.
• This should include: assembly, rough cut, and final cut.
• The vendor is to provide full transcripts of each of the interviews to support the editing process.
- Please include rates for any travel that may be required to complete video shoots.
• We are expecting fifty percent (50%) of the recipients live out of province this year.
