The Vendor is required to provide evidence-based
professional learning, coaching and resources in support of evaluating a
statewide system of Evidence-Based Professional Learning focused on improving
district implementation of evidence-based programs for students that are
underserved and traditionally marginalized children and youth, including those with
disabilities.
- Coordinate and model network guiding principles and the
provision of evidence-based professional development with department and across
each network priority to ensure system coherency, state board of education
vision alignment, and sustainable partnerships.
- Assist each network priority project in designing and implementing
evaluation activities that measure the effectiveness, implementation, and
sustainability for increased educator efficacy and improved student results;
system-wide evaluators work closely with project staff on how to implement
meaningful utilization-focused evaluation practices and offer accessible
materials.
- This ongoing, collaborative process informs department staff,
increases network providers’ knowledge, and builds the data analysis competence
of teachers, administrators, and agency coaches charged with implementing
evidence-based instructional practices.
- Annually analyze, evaluate and produce evaluation briefs for
each network priority.
- Annually analyze federally required department state performance
plan state systemic improvement plan indicator 17 data and prepare draft report
for department consideration.
- Annually analyze lead and lag outcome data, as available, to
identify student impacts influenced by network, and support network providers
to utilize analyses to refine professional learning.
- Create other priority reports upon request.
