The Vendor is required to provide a freelancer platform(s) that will be an enterprise wide solution for university.
- University there are a number of other departments and verticals that have a need to rapidly secure it talent and also other areas of the university similarly need to secure talent that is not specific to IT.
- For example, departments such as marketing, HR, supply chain management and legal may also benefit from using a freelancer platform.
- Multiple freelancer platforms that will cumulatively provide the needed enterprise solution.
- A freelancer platform include:
• Access to the growing, highly skilled freelancer talent pool.
• Ability to more rapidly identify and hire temporary staff.
• Increased visibility and control of the work of temporary staff.
• Reduced temporary staffing expenses.
- The freelancer platform must have a service to search for freelancers and design, develop, staff and execute projects that require multiple freelancers.
- The freelancer platform must have the ability to easily profile and match position requirements with top freelancers across any skill category.
- The platform must classify workers as either independent contractors or employees and indemnify university from worker misclassification risk.
