The vendor is required to provide by information returns reporting solution.
- Allow at least six users with the option to purchase a license for additional users, if need determined by the State.
- Able to transfer to another workstation/user, if need determined by the State.
- Support at a minimum 50,000 forms.
- Support manually entered corrections and/or imported corrections for prior and current tax years.
- Allow for importing of data using Excel into software for form creation.
- Allow previous 1099 related data (import maps, recipient, and filer information) to be rolled into the new annual updated license installation.
- Make license updates, patches, and upgrades available for download upon release.
- Provide security set up for users, user groups, user profiles and be linked to active directory, and allow administrators the ability to restrict specific access.
- Provide standard and custom report generator.
- Offer support and management of all forms in the 1097, 1098, 1099, 5498, and 1042-S series.
- Provide access of up to 8 years of prior year data, forms layout and instructions.
- Enable the State to print to PDF the created forms on specified paper for paper filings.
- Be able to generate original, test, and correction files formatted per agency Publication 1220 to upload to agency.
- Be able to generate bulk tin matching files for upload to the agency eservices site.
- Use USPS to validate address data.
- A dedicated and knowledgeable account representative will be assigned with experience in service, programming, SQL and multiple operating systems.
- Direct support access available via phone, email, live chat, remote computer connection, and video walkthroughs.
