RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide a software solution to support the county’s urban tree inventory program, located state.
- The software solution will serve as the primary tree record and inventory database; provide mapping and visualization of tree locations; track tree health and maintenance; log service requests; and provide reporting and analysis.
- Urban tree inventory management solution shall include:
1. Core software platform
• Delivery and ongoing support of comprehensive software platform shall be specifically designed for tree inventory management, encompassing all core functionalities as outlined in the proposal requirements.
• Built on a modern web GIS that enables internet data transfer.
• Data (spatial and non-spatial) integrates with the ESRI application suite of products.
• Refer to the county’s its technology standards for further details.
2. Mobile and browser-based applications
• The solution’s interface is configured for all device types, including desktop, tablet and phone (both android and iOS).
• The solution can operate on existing county owned devices (iPhone, iPad and personal computer pcs).
3. Operational features
• The solution allows users to engage with an interactive map view and an attribute table view of the tree assets
• Asset intake, updating and inventory data archiving;
• Proactive and reactive asset maintenance including tracking tree health and maintenance;
• Create, update and prioritize service requests and work orders, including notifications;
• Incorporating photos and other attached documents;
• Web-map based interface and visualization of tree locations;
• Map printing;
• Integration with GIS environment; and
• Reporting and analysis of tree inventories, service requests and work orders.
4. Data management, reporting and analytic
• Secure data storage and management capabilities.
• Robust reporting and analytics dashboards for inventory monitoring, health and maintenance analysis and service planning.
• The solution shall provide accurate operating and performance reporting metrics, including, but not limited to the following:
○ Tree health and condition
○ Species distribution
○ Maintenance and work history
○ Risk assessment
○ Canopy coverage
○ Environmental impact reports
○ Inventory summary.
