The vendor required to provide to fabricate and install wayfinding signage based on the design intent document (DID) dated June 10, 2025.
a. Fabrication requirements
• Aluminum construction per they did specifications
• Powder coating or baked enamel finish
• Anti-graffiti coatings on all exterior signage
• Stainless streel or tamper-proof fasteners
• Retroreflective surfaces where required
• Typography, colors, and graphics matching the did
• Coordination with city branding
b. Installation requirements
• Site verification, layout, and staking
• Installation of posts, footers, and anchors
• Ensure signs are plumb, level, and aligned
• Compliance with wind-load engineering (170 miles per hour minimum)
• ADA-compliant clearances
• Restoration of disturbed surfaces and areas
c. Permitting requirements
• Department right of way (ROW) permits, building permits, electrical permits
• Contractor is responsible for all permit submittals
• The city may waive permit fees but the contractor must perform the permitting process.
