The Vendor is required to provide policy software for the hospital.
- This initiative aims to promote ongoing alignment, transparency, regulatory compliance, and support consistent policy governance.
- Functional Requirements
•    Provide a centralized, web-based repository to manage and track every stage of the policy lifecycle.
•    Offer full functionality across both desktop and mobile platforms, enabling users to complete all tasks on either device.
•    Integrate seamlessly with State-supported software.
•    Include version control to support audit readiness and compliance.
•    Automatically archive policies.
•    Analyze policy language to identify and eliminate redundancies.
•    Evaluate existing policies for relevance, alignment, and operational impact.
•    Generate automated notifications triggered by policy events and customizable workflow needs.
- Downtime Mitigation & Backup Protocols: Approach for ensuring system availability that addresses the following requirements.
•    Redundancy & Failover Mechanisms: Methods for ensuring high availability, including geographically distributed backups and automatic failover solutions.
•    Emergency Access: Procedures to ensure uninterrupted access to critical policies, procedures, forms, and supporting documentation during system outages.
•    Disaster Recovery: Defined recovery timeframes for various outage scenarios (e.g., local server failure vs. full system outage).
