- Requirements gathering
• This phase includes, but is not limited to, engaging with the town’s lead project team to identify staff and teams who will provide information related to functional and non-functional requirements for an ERP platform.
• Following identification, information must be gathered from the identified staff and teams from across the organization to ensure all aspects of town business are considered.
• The information gathered during this phase will be used during implementation of a chosen ERP platform.
- Resource plans creation
1. Implementation resource plan
• Report must include, at minimum, the following:
o Executive summary
o High-level potential implementation plan
o Anticipated resourcing requirements from the town and potential vendor to implement
2. Operational resource plan
• Report must include, at minimum, the following:
o Executive summary
o Anticipated operational resourcing plan and model to maintain and manage the growth of the platform
- ERP implementation RFP document creation
• This phase includes the development of a request for proposal (RFP) document, within the town’s procurement template, to be sent to market to obtain proposals for the implementation and licensing of an ERP platform.
• The successful proponent will work closely with the town’s project lead and the procurement team while creating these deliverables.
• The successful proponent will be responsible for leveraging the information acquired from previous phases to draft document(s) and work with town staff to review and approve before posting publicly.
